Here and now, the foundation gone and unrecoverable. In the immediate, the structure unsalvable. In the future, an artifact compressed by earh and time. Each component inexorably losing and gaining value.

The balance fragile in each hand. Nothing will clear the slate better than a nuclear holocaust. Yet, nothing stops the hand from this. Finger near the ultimate destruction and regeneration ensuant. New foundation readied; then swept into the synthesis seen only with hindsight.
Yet -fools repeat history wandering the mobius strip called: life. The path less traveled having once been the highway connecting two points. The connection buried - a point disappears. The disappearance in reality or in the realization lost is a paradox unanswered.
In the absence, as a lowly pissmire convoys haul new material to the same site creating new foundations and connecting new points. The earlier highway becomes a forgotten path. New end points to be connected with each load.
